There's an ancient Chinese curse that says, "May you live in interesting times." Do we ever! Does anyone remember "slow news days?" What would Barry AuH2O say about a Goldwater wannabe going up against a Goldwater Girl from Chicago or a Black kid from Chicago's South Side? What would Jimmy Hoffa say about the Teamsters endorsing that black kid over the machine candidates from either party? This is going to be a very interesting election. If Obama does get elected he will have to guard against Jimmy Carter's mistake of getting elected as an outsider, and never being able to overcome being an outsider once in office. Of course, if the Mayan calendar is right, the world will end on 12.21.12, before the end of his first term anyway....
